VPay text-message programs
These terms apply to automated phone-verification text messages sent by VPay. VPay does not use text messages for security alerts, identity-document links, or marketing.
Phone verification
When you enter your mobile number and select Create Account, you request one automated text message containing a security code. Additional codes are sent only when you request another code or change an unverified number. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to opt out of messages from the sender or HELP for help. VPay security alerts are delivered separately by email. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information and consent records
VPay uses your mobile number, consent record, and verification metadata to verify your number, protect your account, investigate abuse, and meet legal or security obligations. VPay may provide the information needed for verification to Twilio, telecommunications carriers, and service providers acting for VPay.
VPay does not sell mobile numbers or SMS consent data. VPay does not share text-message originator opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Consent evidence
VPay records the consent version, exact disclosure, time, requested message purpose, and protected request-context evidence. A new consent event is required when the number or applicable disclosure changes.
